AMTS™ Provides “Breakthrough
Understanding” to Supply Chain Decision Makers
Layton, Utah, May 28, 2002—SabiOso, Inc., formerly

version two of their Automated Material Tracking System (AMTS 2.0). SabiOso has harnessed the combined power of
web services technology and “Sword TIP Wisdom TM” analytics in AMTS. AMTS is a high capacity inventory tracking,
management, and accountability system that provides all levels of the supply
chain enterprise with a real-time inventory management system.
The
U. S. Air Force Materiel Command has selected, implemented, validated and will
deploy AMTS 2.0 in Air Logistics Centers nationwide in 2002. Now within its current environment, AMTS
presently supports $42 million in deliveries daily and provides in-transit
tracking of over 1.8 million parts monthly— totaling over 80,000 issues per
day. AMTS has the capability to track
one million parts per minute and supports over 1,300 direct users and analysts
and over 55,000 indirect users. AMTS
also supports the hundreds of thousands of war fighters that depend on this
system to deliver operational systems on time.

AMTS
offers communication abilities and a full-database interface to a wide range of
operating systems and environments. A powerful Oracle database (also available
for any SQL environment) provides a third tier cross platform foundation. The middle tier is powered by Apache and a
100 percent Java interface, providing scalability and platform
flexibility. XML formatting provides
transparent information sharing among agencies in the enterprise. To operate AMTS, all the client needs is a
browser. Bar code and RFID automation,
biometrics and wireless capability are standard features. Wireless GPS location and control, real-time
damage event monitoring and notification, and PDA/Tablet PC technologies are
also available.
